To a lot of people a beach wedding is the perfect way to celebrate the bonding of love between two lovers. A neutral location where one type of landscape meets another, a picturesque location bringing about a new chapter in the couples lives together. Beach weddings are common for a reason, they are out in the open, they have a wild carefree vibe and the weather is usually on point. Despite careful planning, Melissa and Bretts Gold Coast beach wedding was a wet one.

What I love about this wedding, however, is that even though this was a wet wedding, it didn’t even matter in the end! Everyone had an amazing time, two beautiful people celebrated their love in front of their friends and family, the smiles and laughter were in abundance all day, the photos turned out great, the vivid red dresses popped off of the natural green and brown backgrounds of the forest, and the party continued well into the night! The whole day was a great success through my eyes!
